Hi Ginger, I use OOO knitting needles and embroidery floss. It really isn't that hard, give it a try, you might like it.
Your bears are so cute..I found you on Maureen's Sweet Meadows blog..your bears are adorable and the clothes are just precious.
I can crochet and have just bought two knitting needles and so far all I have learned is to "cast on"..I think that's what it is called.
